My Passion

Guided by my insatiable curiosity, quest for deeper meaning, empathetic heart and keen intuition, I have chosen a diverse career path, bridging the practices of Psychology, Spirituality, Energy Healing and Feng Shui.  My passion and expertise for creating inner harmony in the lives and homes of my clients has been sought out in television and radio interviews as well as numerous newspaper and magazine articles for the past three decades.
Soul Whispers III
My interest in the topic of GRATITUDE has led me to co-author a book entitled Soul Whispers III – Soul Wisdom for Living the Life of Your Dreams where I discuss “The Courage to Choose Gratitude – No Matter What.” I write:  “Be a student of gratitude. Let the hardship be your lesson and let courage be your teacher. Gratitude softens us and courage makes us stronger. The marriage of these two gives birth to love, hope, compassion and joy.” You may purchase this book directly through me, or from www.amazon.com or your local bookstore. Be prepared to feel inspired, uplifted and thoroughly entertained!

My Mission

As an international speaker, University of Washington instructor and collaborator with a world-wide team of writers for the humanitarian movie “The Difference”, I am on a perpetual mission to inspire the expansion of my own and others’ higher consciousness.  Toward this end, I received a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Washington (1981) and have brought my nurturing and compassionate style to my psychotherapy private practice since 1981.  In addition to my professional certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have also expanded my career by becoming a Certified Soul Coach, Master Feng Shui Practitioner, Certified Past Life Coach, and Transformational Energy Healer.

My Experience

What a joy it has been to maintain my psychotherapy practice of over 30 years and love it more each year! My extensive clinical experience has also been gained by serving as a Medical Social Worker at Swedish, Harborview and Children’s Hospitals, Clinical Supervisor and Lead Therapist at a mental health center, Court-appointed County Designated Mental Health Professional (CDMHP), Assistant to the Director of King County Drug Treatment Programs, Co-Founder and Clinical Advisor to a battered women’s shelter, and Clinical Supervisor to UW and Antioch University graduate students.  As a member of a US Delegation to China, I gave a keynote presentation at the Pan Asian International Conference on Mental Health on the therapeutic modality of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

Professional Affiliations have included: National Association of Social Workers, Washington State Society for Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Washington, Jungian Society, People To People International, Who’s Who in American Women, National Society of Published Poets, International Feng Shui Guild, and Woodland Park Zoo Docent Society.

The Bigger Picture

Victoria with Maasai Chief’s son in Africa.

When outside my cozy Greenlake office, I thrive in nature (especially over, under and around water), enjoy gardening (“dirt therapy”), meditation, reading and writing poetry, and get my creative juices flowing with interior design. I have a passion for exploring diverse cultures and endangered animals through foreign adventure travel, and reaching “outside the box” in heart-racing activities (skydiving, river rafting and skiing). Since co-authoring Soul Whispers III, I’m inspired to research and write the books that have simmered (im)patiently in my head for years, and continue sharing life and love with my beloved family, friends and furry 4-legged.
