The essence of my therapeutic approach is centered around building a caring, supportive, trusting relationship with my clients. It is through this positive and affirming connection that the most powerful healing may occur.
“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”
~ Theodore Roosevelt
By treating the whole person — Mind, Body and Spirit — I integrate my therapy approach with your specific needs. With over 30 years of professional experience, I enjoy supporting and inspiring adults and couples to overcome depression, stress and anxiety, relationship issues, low self-esteem, PTSD, childhood and adult abuse and trauma, chemical addictions, spiritual turmoil, grief/loss and major life transitions.
Going beyond the typical therapy hour, I also offer extended 1-1/2 hour sessions to more fully explore and understand the heart and soul of the issues using traditional and unconventional wisdom. In this co-creative process, I am both an intuitive, compassionate listener and an interactive, solution-focused guide on your personal path.
Using a holistic treatment approach, I may suggest a number of therapeutic interventions depending upon your primary concerns in order to find what resonates best with you. I have extensive professional training and clinical experience in Cognitive, Behavioral, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Voice Dialogue, Soul Coaching, Mindfulness Practices, Jungian, Psychodynamic and Body-Centered Psychotherapy as well as Transformational Energy Healing.
